Where to buy Telegram Stars cheaper in 2026
We compare three ways to get stars: in-app, through Fragment and through a reseller. The price gap reaches 30%.
Three ways to buy stars
1. Inside Telegram. The obvious route: tap "Top up" in the app. The payment goes through the App Store or Google Play, and the app store takes its cut — which makes this the most expensive option.
2. On Fragment. Telegram's official platform, where stars are sold for TON. The price is fair, but you need a crypto wallet, some TON for fees and an understanding of how it all works.
3. Through a reseller. You pay in rubles by card or SBP, the shop buys the stars on Fragment and sends them to your @username.
How much you actually save
App store fees run around 30% on top. Fragment has no such markup, so even with a reseller's margin it comes out cheaper than an in-app purchase. At our prices a star costs about $0.018 — the Fragment rate plus a fixed shop markup.
What to check when picking a seller
- They never ask for a password or a code. Sending stars needs only a public @username. Any request for an SMS code is a reason to close the chat.
- The price is shown before payment. A sane bot calculates the amount up front and does not change it afterwards.
- Refunds on failure. If the supplier does not deliver, the amount should return to your balance automatically.
- Purchase history. A receipt for every order is your insurance in a dispute.
When Fragment directly is better
If you buy large volumes often and already hold TON, the direct route saves you the reseller margin. For one-off purchases the few cents of difference are not worth the wallet and network fees.
