How gifting works
Premium is tied to a public @username. That means you can gift a subscription knowing only the handle: the recipient gets a Telegram notification and starts using it right away. No password, no code, no login is required — and if someone asks for those "to process it", it is a scam.
Stacking on an active subscription
If Premium is already running, a new purchase adds days to the current term. Nothing needs to be cancelled first and no days are lost.
Who actually needs it
People who forward large files, run channels, live in dozens of chats or rely on voice messages. If Telegram is just two conversations for you, most of the features will go unused.
