How to gift stars
- Open the bot and pick Stars.
- Enter the amount — from 50 pcs.
- Instead of your own handle, enter the recipient's @username.
- Pay — the stars usually reach them in under a minute.
What you should not do
Never ask the person for a password, an SMS code or account access: a gift does not require any of that. Anyone asking for such data "to credit stars" is not crediting anything.
Channel giveaway
If the stars are for a contest, the bot has a dedicated mode: you set the total prize pool and the number of winners, and Telegram raffles them among subscribers. It is easier than handing them out manually and looks fair to the audience.
If you mistyped the handle
A sent order cannot be recalled, so check the @username before paying. The bot shows the recipient on the confirmation screen — that is the last point where you can still change your mind.
